A Henderson, Nevada native, Danny began his career in public service in 1980 as a member of the Nevada State Assembly, where he served for a decade. During his tenure, he held influential leadership positions, including Chairman of the Government Affairs and Natural Resources Committees and Vice-Chairman of the Labor and Management Committee and the Nevada Public Lands Commission.

Danny’s executive career includes over 18 years as Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the Nevada State AFL-CIO, where he guided a federation of more than 125 affiliates representing a diverse membership base across the state. Under his leadership, the organization became a nationally recognized model of effectiveness, influencing policy at both the state and federal levels and driving forward initiatives that contributed to Nevada’s economic and social advancement.

Throughout his career, Danny has demonstrated a keen ability to build consensus and achieve impactful outcomes, including leading high-profile campaigns on complex policy issues.
